". . . not because I was actively seeking it, I just kind of got swept into the current of COVID. And because I was so loud and noisy on social media about D-design, D-design, D-design, people associated me with a solution and started reaching out to me when they were in the hospital needing help. And so my first hospital rescue was in November of 2020. Again, I wasn't looking to do this, but somebody contacted me that knew somebody that knew somebody that was close to me. And they said, 'There's a gentleman in New Jersey - he needs help with his dad - he's not doing good - can we give him your number?' And I'm like 'OK.' At that point, I never said I did rescue. And that was my first successful rescue. He got out of there with his hospital gown on and his catheter (Foley catheter) still attached because he went with a UTI urinary tract infection. And so got him out, I had to arrange all the things behind the scenes - the doctor to connect him to the Pedesonite, get the nebulizer at home, get the oxygen delivered - shipped to his doorstep through prescription outside the hospital. Anyway, it was a lot, but got it done. And then I felt responsible for this gentleman. So I would call him every two hours around the clock for at least 48 hours, trying to make sure the guy was getting his treatment because I didn't want him to die since it was my suggestion to get him out. So anyway, he survived and that was my first one . . ."
