". . . I'll never forget coming out of rehearsal. This girl stood up on the stage and she's like, 'I need everybody to sit down. I need to make an announcement'. And she announced to us that she was now a boy and that we all needed to coincide with that. And everybody was clapping. And it's just situations like that that really made me realize that I was raised differently. At that point, I was like, 'I will will be raising my children differently one day. And just I can't be in this environment anymore'. I think that that's something that (and I will ruffle some feathers by saying this) . . ."
