I never would have believed two years ago that a group of concerned citizens with various backgrounds would unite behind a common goal: protect the sovereignty and medical rights of Oklahomans from the overreach of international organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN).
Well, that is EXACTLY what is occurring in the state of Oklahoma.
WHAT'S HAPPENING:
Senate Bill 426 is "An Act relating to the World Health Organization; prohibiting enforcement of policies required or recommended by the World Health Organization, World Economic Forum and United Nations".
This bill mimics the language of recently-passed Louisiana SB133 which will protect their citizens forever from having to obey supranational organizations' dictates.
On April 24th, this crucial piece of legislation passed the Oklahoma House (the vote was 72 for and 21 against) and has now been sent to 'Conference Committee' for approval of an amendment before it can be brought to the Senate floor to be heard and passed. The Committee could meet as early as Monday, May 20th.
I know - it's Oklahoma, right!? However, even in the 'Heartland' questions have still been raised:
· Do Oklahoma Senators believe it is necessary to have a bill that protects Oklahomans against these global organizations impinging on our freedoms?
· Would any Oklahoma Senator block a law like this that would only serve to protect us ?
· Would any Oklahoma Senator think it is okay for the WHO, UN or WEF to give orders to Oklahoma citizens?
WHY THIS BILL MATTERS:
On April 16th, the Biden-Harris administration released their “Strategy to Strengthen Global Health Security (GHS)”. Throughout this document, they used phrases like: "accelerate country implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR)", "Pandemic Accord", "strengthen a One Health approach" and "build the Core Capacities".
Why use "Pandemic Accord" instead of "Pandemic Treaty"? Is this proposal the plan to unilaterally impose powers that would give Dr. Tedros the ability to declare pandemics, determine measures & mandates and collect and study pathogens from all across the globe?
This question also caught the attention of 49 US Senators, who addressed their demands in a letter to President Biden, written May 1st of 2024:
"...we call upon you to (1) withdraw your administration's support for the current IHR amendments and pandemic treaty negotiations, (2) shift your administration's focus to comprehensive WHO reforms that address its persistent failures without expanding its authority, and (3) should you ignore these calls, submit any pandemic related agreement to the Senate for its advice and consent."
Then on May 8th, 22 State Attorney Generals (including Oklahoma’s) sent a letter to President Biden pointing out:
"...the proposed IHR amendments and the Pandemic Treaty would lay the groundwork for a global surveillance infrastructure, ostensibly in the interest of public health, but with the inherent opportunity for control (as with Communist China's "social credit system")."
"...To varying degrees, these measures would threaten national sovereignty, undermine states' authority, and imperil constitutionally guaranteed freedoms. Ultimately, the goal of these instruments isn't to protect public health. It's to cede authority to the WHO (specifically its Director-General) to restrict our citizens' rights to freedom of speech, privacy, movement (especially travel across borders) and informed consent."
LET's GET SB426 PASSED
There is a massive amount of constituent support across the state, as well as as an abundant support of leaders from organizations such as Oklahomans for Health and Parental Rights, Moms for Liberty, Oklahoma's Second Amendment Association and Former Feds Group Freedom Foundation who have demonstrated vast support and encouragement to pass Senate bill 426. If that wasn't enough, this historic legislation has prompted 12 Oklahoma Senate and House co-authors to 'Stand In The Gap' in order to reiterate that our unalienable rights given by God are not up for negotiation.
We have until the end of this session to pass SB426 and less than 6 days until 'The Vote'.
